Rhys Williams

Rhys Williams is Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Wales Swansea. Prior to that he has worked at the World Health Organisation in Geneva, the University of Leeds and, from 1977 to 1993, in Cambridge, first at the Medical Research Council Dunn Nutrition Unit and then at the Institute of Public Health. His research interests are the epidemiology and prevention of diabetes and childhood obesity. He is currently a Vice President of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and chairs the IDF
