Linda Siminerio, RN, PhD, CDE (Diabetes)
Dr. Siminerio’s primary research topics include diabetes education, diabetes translation into community interventions, pediatric diabetes care and education, and the psychosocial and behavioral aspects of diabetes.
Dr. Siminerio is the author of numerous books and scientific publications in her field and is the author of the National Standards for Diabetes Education and the International Diabetes Standards and Curriculum.
She is a nationally prominent advocate for diabetes care, education and funding, and is a former Vice President of the ADA. She is the Chair of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) translation research program and served as Chair of the IDF World Congress.
