Jan Berend Deijen is Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology of the Free University, Amsterdam. He studies the effects of nutrients on behaviour and is involved in studies on the diagnostic potential of neuropsychological indices in Parkinson’s disease. Dr Deijen has also studied the relationship between growth hormone (GH) and psychological functions in collaboration with the VU University Medical Center. He has performed psychopharmacological studies for the pharmaceutical industry and studies on the (neuro)psychological implications of aeroplane noise and the introduction of the euro in The Netherlands for the Dutch government. He is Review Editor for the International Growth Monitor.
